Annual Audit 2024-25

Every year Toller Porcorum Parish Council is required to complete an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR). An AGAR is a legal requirement and failure to submit one would lead to the Parish Council being fined and reported to the Secretary of State for further sanctions.

To complete an AGAR Parish Council must appoint an internal auditor to carry out checks on our financial statements and procedures. The auditor and Parish Council complete AGAR forms and the Council submits the required copies to the government appointed external auditor and is required to publish certain documents on this website. As part of the process the public must be given an opportunity to inspect the Parish Council's finances for the year ending 31 March 2025 - this is known as the period for the exercise of public rights and runs from 3 June - 14 July 2025, as described in the first PDF document below.
